Deputies Attend Local Shooter Simulation Training

The state requires at least 24 hours of training per year, but the Lee County Sheriff’s Office requires at least 40 hours per year.

This week, staff is attending a training school hosted by the Harnett County Sheriff's Dept.   This training covers a multitude of situations, from clearing a school or building to locating an armed suspect.

Thanks to the Herald and their staff (Anna Johnson and Wesley Beeson) for their article in the Sanford Herald today.

Thanks to you and your staff for continued training to help you be better prepared for those who are less than upstanding, law-abiding, members of society.
