Two Arrested At Budget Inn For Cocaine

Zane McDougald, 57, of room 15 Budget Inn, Sanford, was arrested on 6-11-2013 for possession with intent to sell Cocaine, sell and delivery of Cocaine, trafficking Opium, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a dwelling to store drugs after an undercover operation by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division. He was also served with an outstanding warrant for failure to appear. He was placed in the Lee County Jail under $158,250.00 secured bond.  

Jennifer Leann Bertram, 22, also of room 15 Budget Inn, was also charged as a result of the operation with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to sell Cocaine, trafficking Opium, maintaining a dwelling, possession of Marijuana and resisting a public officer. She was placed in the Lee County Jail under $117,000.00 secured bond.
