3/8/2014 - During
patrol, a Lee County Sheriff’s Deputy located a suspicious vehicle at Grace
Christian School 2601 Jefferson Davis Hwy at approximately 3 AM. Upon further
investigation the deputy found 5 individuals that had broken into the school
and had damaged 2 offices, 3 buses and the soccer field. The 2 offices were
damaged by eggs, the 3 buses were damaged by fire extinguishers and the soccer
field was damaged by driving a vehicle on same.
Arrested on
scene by deputies were Wesley Michael Holder (18) W/M of 513 Walnut Dr.
Sanford, Nolan James Shoemake (19) W/M of 104 Simmons Dr. Seven Lakes,
West End NC, Jonathon Sawyer Williams (18) W/M of 361 Joe Mathews Rd.
Sanford, Matthew Charles Hrabosky (18) W/M of 104 Berkshire Ct. Seven
Lakes, West End NC, Ethan Samuel Sykes (18) W/M of 2283 Mays Chapel Rd,
Sanford NC were all charged w/ felony breaking and entering a place of worship,
felony larceny, breaking and entering a motor vehicle, misdemeanor larceny,
possession stolen goods and injury to real property. All 5 were held under
$21,000 secured bond.
