"Operation Deadbeat" Nets Many

Lee County Sheriff's Deputies began a special operation at 5 am this morning targeting those that owed back child support. Deputies began serving orders for arrest for back child support ranging from those that owed their children just a few thousand dollars, to those that owed nearly $50,000.00.

Those arrested for non-support are:


Tammi Lynn Johnson (32) W/F of 1201 Post Office Rd. Sanford was arrested for failing to pay child support; she was held $2,774 cash bond.

Jaymes Palmer, 26, of 203 Glover Street, Sanford, was placed in the Lee County Jail under $204.00 secured bond

James Henry Whitaker, 30, of 1197 Tempting Church Road, Sanford, was placed in the Lee County Jail under $6,487.00 secured bond

Billy Craig Carter, 44, of 290 Family Farm Lane, Sanford, was placed in the Lee County Jail under $16,544.00 secured bond

Ralph McDonald Reed Jr, 40, of 823 Juniper Road, Sanford, was placed in the Lee County Jail under $2,125.00 secured bond

Gabriel Antonio Chavez, 38, of 28 Sabre Drive, Sanford, was placed in the Lee County Jail under $1,889.00 secured bond

Jaquell Maurice Tysor, 28, of 311 Woodland Trail Road, Sanford, was placed in the Lee County Jail under $1,326.00 secured bond

Walter Petty, 59, of 1326 Boykin Avenue was placed in the Lee County Jail under $13,548.00 secured bond

Marcel D. Harrington, 38, of 1417 Ferrell Road, Sanford, was placed in the Lee County Jail under $3,747.00 secured bond

William C. Murchison, 52, of 205 Linden Avenue, Sanford, was placed in the Lee County Jail under $49,942.00 secured bond
