County Drug Agents Close Out A Busy Week



On Saturday August 1st, 2015 Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics agents arrested Jonathan Scott Pavlic Jr., age 30 of 1811 Carthage Street Sanford. Pavlic was found in possession of 17 Suboxone strips, 5 dosage units of Suboxone, 7 dosage units of clonazepam a schedule IV, and 3 dosage units of Adderall. Pavlic was charged with 1 count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver a schedule II substance (Adderall), 1 count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver a schedule III controlled substance (Suboxone), 1 count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver IV controlled substance (Clonazepam), 1 count of felony maintaining a vehicle for the storage of an illegal controlled substance, and 1 count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Pavlic was jailed under a $10,000.00 secured bond.

On Wednesday August 5th, 2015 Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics agents arrested Shirley Maureen Chalmers, age 55 of 891 Nicholson Road Sanford. Chalmers was arrested and charged with 2 counts of possession with the intent to sell and deliver a schedule VI substance (Marijuana), 1 count of sell and deliver a schedule VI substance (Marijuana), 1 count of felony possession of a schedule VI substance (Marijuana), 2 counts of felony maintaining a dwelling place for the storage and sells of illegal controlled substance (Marijuana), 2 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. The above charges came after agents executed a search warrant on the residence of Shirley Maureen Chalmers, located at 891 Nicholson Road Sanford and located 52 grams of Marijuana and items of paraphernalia consistent with the illegal sells of Marijuana. Chalmers was jailed under a $6,000.00 secured bond.

Jacob Adams
On Thursday August 6th, 2015 Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics agents arrested Hunter Chase Matthews, age 21 of 567 Holder Road Sanford and Jacob Ryan Adams, age 25 of 900 Hollywood Road Sanford. Both Matthews and Adams where each charged with 1 felony count of obtaining property by false pretense, 1 count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance (Oxycodone). 



Jacob Ryan Adams received additional charges of felony maintaining a vehicle for the storage and sells of illegal controlled substance and the possession of drug paraphernalia. Hunter Chase Matthews was jailed under a $5,000.00 secured bond and Jacob Ryan Adams was jailed under a $15,000.00 secured bond.









On Friday August 7th 2015 Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics agents arrested Michael Vaccaro Cox age 52 of 228 Charlotte Avenue Sanford. Cox was charged with 1 count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance (Crack Cocaine), 1 count of sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance (Crack Cocaine), and 1 count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Cox was jailed under a $4,000.00 secured bond.
