National Night Out 2015 - A Great Success!

As I made my way around the county last night to several of the NNO sites, I was reminded again how much coordination, hard work and planning it took to pull off this event.   Each site I visited was filled with enthusiasm and seemed to be modeled after the community in which it was located.  Some were more laid back than others but everyone seemed to be having a great time despite the heat.

From dunking booths to live music and activities for all ages, it demonstrated to me again how great the people of Lee County are!  Since we brought NNO to Lee county in 2007, this is sometimes the only annual event where we have the chance to bring the community and public safety agencies together under positive circumstances.   My hat is off to each and everyone of you that participated, no matter how big or small your part was!  It was a TEAM effort!  Great Job Lee County!
