16 Year Old Wanted For Murder



UPDATE:  Suspect Turned Himself in On Oct 20, 2015.

9/23/2015            Lee County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to 622 Beulah Brown Rd. Sanford at approximately 6:47 PM in reference to a gunshot victim. Upon arrival Deputies found Marcus Laverne Murchison of that address suffering from several gunshot wounds.
 
Heather Shontell Lindsey (girlfriend) of that address reported to deputies the description of the man who had shot Murchison and that he had fled on foot. Lindsey reported the suspect was an acquaintance of Murchison’s and had robbed Murchison shot him several times and also shot at her, but she was not injured.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office has issued warrants for arrest for Taveun Dayquan Davis alias: (Four Nick) B/M (16) of 549 Wakefield Rd. Sanford for 2 counts of Attempted 1st Degree Murder and 1 count of assault w/ a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury w/ Intent to kill.

At approximately 6:30 AM The Lee County Sheriff’s Office was notified by UNC Hospitals that the victim Marcus Laverne Murchison had passed away from his injuries suffered in this incident. (Upgraded Charges to Murder will be forthcoming today)

He is considered armed and dangerous.
