4/30/2017 @ 11:05 PM the Lee County Sheriff’s Office was
called to 4804 St. Andrews Church Rd. Sanford in reference to a shooting
victim. Upon officers arrival they found Johnathon Rashid Fulmore (16) of 428
San Lee Dr. suffering from several gunshot wounds. Fulmore was transported to
UNC Hospital. Fulmore underwent surgery for his injuries and is recovering at
UNC.
5/2/2017 @ 7:15 PM Sheriff Investigators arrested Dominic Michael Swewczyk (17) of 508 Crestview St. Sanford for attempted murder and assault w/ a deadly weapon w/intent to kill inflicting serious injury; he was held under $500,000 secured bond. This investigation is ongoing and additional arrests may be forthcoming.
