Family Farm Lane Man Arrested For Murder

7/6/2018 Billy Craig Carter of 290 Family Farm Ln. Sanford passed away late last night from injuries he sustained from being shot on June 19, 2018. The shooting occurred around 8:20 PM on June 19, 2018 at 14 Family Farm Ln. Mark Christopher Patterson (46) of 14 Family Farm Ln. Sanford, was arrested on scene that night and was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill.

Mark Christopher Patterson (46) of 14 Family Farm Ln., Sanford was arrested at 1:14 AM this morning at his home and charged with First Degree Murder; he was held under no bond.

Carter’s Body will be examined at the NC State Medical Examiner’s Office in Raleigh on Monday.
