During the course of a vehicle stop agents located a prescription pill bottle containing 44 dosage units of amphetamine (Dextroamphetamine). Agents observed the pill bottle, lying in plain view, on the driver side floorboard underneath Jones feet.
Agents transported Jones to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office for processing. Agents charged Jones with, one count of felony possession with the intent to sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance (Dextroamphetamine), one count of felony maintaining a vehicle used for keeping and selling a controlled substance, and one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Agents also cited Jones for operating a motor vehicle while his license revoked.
Jones was jailed under a $10,000.00 secured bond.
