Late Monday afternoon August 5th, 2019, Lee County Narcotics agents arrested Walter Ladarius Freeman, age 26, of 110 Rental Lane, Sanford. Agents stopped Freeman on NC Highway 87, near Walker Road for a minor traffic infraction. During the course of the traffic stop agents found that Freeman was in possession of 28.4 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
Freeman was placed into custody and transported to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office for processing. Walter Ladarius Freeman was charged with one count of trafficking methamphetamine by possession, one count of trafficking methamphetamine by transportation, one count of felony maintaining a vehicle for the purpose of storing and selling a controlled substance, and one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Walter Ladarius Freeman was jailed under a $100,000.00 secured bond.
