The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who walked into the Circle K at 3000 Jefferson Davis Hwy Sanford, last night around 11:30PM. The man pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money. The clerk reported when she saw the man w/ the gun she screamed the suspect fled from the store.

Eric Cordevant (27) of 355 Dickens Rd. Broadway NC was arrested and charged w/
attempted robbery w/ a dangerous weapon; he was held under $25,000 secured
bond.

The suspect
is described as a white male, 6’00” tall, 150 lbs, tattoo on right lower arm,
gray t-shirt, blue jeans, black cap and operating a gold 4 door car.
No one was
injured in this incident.
