On 12-8-2010, agents of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office discovered a Methamphetamine Lab at 2000 Broadway Road. Agents conducted a search of the residence and discovered precursor chemicals, items of paraphernalia and Methamphetamine inside the home. After the discovery, agents contacted agents of the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation for assistance and clean up. As a result of the investigation, agents charged Jason Craig Gillis, 34, of the home and charged him with possession of Methamphetamine, possession of precursor chemicals, maintaining a dwelling to store drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released under $5000.00 bond.
