National Night Out 2017 - Tuesday, Aug 1st - 6pm - 8pm

What is National Night Out?

It's America's Night Out Against Crime!
It's our annual unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW).  Last year's National Night Out campaign involved over 38 million citizens, including law enforcement personnel, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations and local officials from over 16,000 communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities and military bases worldwide.

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT is designed to:

  • Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
  • Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs;
  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
  • Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

The following locations will be staffed with both department and neighborhood residents. Our county events officially kick off at 6pm at all locations.  Volunteers are always needed!  Call ASAP if you would like to help in anyway!  Contact Lt Sam Elliott @ 919-718-4561 ext. 5607 / 5608 / 5629
