Sanford Woman Arrested With Meth During Traffic Stop

On Monday July 1, 2019, Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics agents arrested Melissa Ann McLeod, age 39 of 397 Moody Road, Sanford.

While conducting a traffic stop for a vehicle regulatory violation (fictitious registration tag) agents discovered McLeod was in possession of approximately 1 gram of crystal methamphetamine.


Agents transported Melissa McLeod to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office for processing. McLeod was processed and charged with one count of felony possession of crystal meth, and one count of misdemeanor passion of drug paraphernalia.

McLeod was jailed under a $10,000.00 unsecured bond.
