Broadway Man Arrested During Traffic Stop

Tuesday morning, August 6, 2019, at approximately 11:30 am Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics agents arrested Jose Alberto Fuentes, age 21, of 305 South Third Street, Broadway. 

During the course of an investigative traffic stop on Main Street in the Town of Broadway,  Agents discovered that Fuentes was in possession of 100 electronic vape pen cartridges, containing liquid THC (Marijuana). 

Agents took Jose Alberto Fuentes into custody and transported Fuentes to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office for processing. Fuentes was charged with one count of felony possession with the intent to sell and deliver 110 grams of liquid THC (Marijuana), one count of felony maintaining a vehicle used for the purpose of storing and selling a controlled substance, and one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jose Alberto Fuentes was released under a $10,000.00 unsecured bond.
